    — Successes —

    50/50 Facade Grants are available to businesses within the TIF District. To date, grants have been approved and used by Apple Valley Bakery (shown), the Monmouth Museum, and Don's Electric.



The North Monmouth Library—built between 1926 and 1927—was designed by Harry Cochrane, the artist and architect whose most notable local creation is Cumston Hall in downtown Monmouth.

In honor of Nancy Ludewig, the Ludewig family has started a continuing education grant in her name, which will be handed out to a graduating senior of Monmouth Academy every spring.

Voters in RSU 2 approved a plan to replace the aging Monmouth Middle and Henry L. Cottrell Elementary schools.
